This thing is beefy. Nice and easy to assemble. The knurling is strong, which is good for me but might be aggressive for some. Taking it back apart is easy but it can surprise you with the weight at one end when you get it out of the slot so just be careful.

Purchased this product at its first iteration with the two in one dip handles and open pull up bar. Bummed that it was separated to two products and that the power tower piece takes up a lot more space now. Unable to do chin ups/pulls ups at various widths as the neutral/diagonal grips get in the way. Logan reached out personally regarding these issues and has offered a potential solution/upgrade. This was best customer service I have ever received. Regarding the product itself, is a solid piece of equipment as are all of their attachments. Sturdy build quality, a little on the bigger side for its use case. Would be perfect for those who only use or like the current set hand placement widths/options. Looking forward to the upgrade.

This attachment only has two minor drawbacks. First, you can’t do dips on it. Second, it’s quite heavy, which means maneuvering it around my home gym takes extra care so I don't nick any walls or furniture. I actually complained to APEX about the weight at first, but after using it, I’m completely sold. At 5'9" and 155 lbs, I did pull-ups on it and felt zero sway—it’s rock solid. Between my job and raising young kids, getting out to a commercial gym just isn't happening anymore. I had installed gymnastics rings at home, but without traditional free weights, I really missed heavy weighted pull-ups. Moving the rings over my Tonal was an option, but that would have limited more advanced movements like front/back levers or skin-the-cats. That’s where the APEX Power Tower comes in. I can roll it right between the Tonal’s arms, wear a dip belt, and route the Tonal cables down to my waist. I even mounted the Tonal wireless control button to the Power Tower handle, so I can engage or disengage the weight with my thumb right when I’m ready. It’s a match made in heaven—and honestly, so much fun that I can't get enough of it.
