Honey-Mustard Brussels Sprouts Recipe
1 pound fresh Brussels sprouts
1 1/2 cups water
1 teaspoon chicken flavor bouillon granules
2 tablespoons honey
2 teaspoons Dijon-style mustard
2 teaspoons lemon juice
Wash Brussels sprouts and remove outer leaves if wilted. Cut off stem ends and cut an “X” on the bottom of each Brussels sprout to decrease bitterness. Bring water and chicken bouillon to boil in a medium saucepan. Add Brussels sprouts and return to boil. Cover, reduce heat and simmer for 10-12 minutes or until tender. Drain and place Brussels sprouts in a serving bowl. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over Brussels sprouts. Toss gently to coat and serve.
