Holiday Lace Cookies Recipe
1 1/2 cups quick-cooking oats
2/3 cups packed brown sugar
1/3 cup margarine, melted
1/4 cup milk
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 egg
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray and lightly flour. Beat all ingredients together with an electric mixer or spoon until smooth. Drop by level tablespoons full about 3 inches apart on baking sheet. Batter should be slightly thin and spread out to form a thin and lacey cookie. Bake 8-10 minutes or until edges or golden brown. Cool for 1-2 minutes and then remove using a thin spatula. Continue cooling on wire rack. May be drizzled with melted chocolate.
