Easy Pizza Crust Recipe
1 1/2 cups reduced-fat Bisquick baking mix
1/3 cup very hot water
Move oven rack to lowest position and heat oven to 450 degrees. Spray cookie sheet or 12 inch pizza pan with nonstick cooking spray. Mix baking mix and hot water and beat vigorously about 20 strokes. Turn dough onto well-dusted surface and knead about 60 times or until smooth and no longer sticky.
Press dough into 13-inch circle on cookie sheet, or press into pizza pan with fingers dipped in baking mix or flour. Pinch edge forming 1/2-inch rim. Top with reduced calorie sauce, spices or your other favorite pizza toppings*. Bake 12-15 minutes or until cheese is melted and crust is browned.
*Canadian Bacon is an excellent low-fat, healthier meat alternative to traditional "pizza" meats.
